Chapter election of officers occurs in the first week of October. Newly elected officers have the opportunity to attend COTS (Chapter Officer Training School), and the Installation of Officers Dinner is held the second week of January. It is the formal highlight of the year, and was held in 2008 at the Branding Iron in Show Low.

This year, Gordon (Mongo) Bergthold and wife Betty attended the dinner, where Gordon installed the Chapter officials. Gordon is the current Arizona, Souther Nevada, Southern Utah Vice President. "JDJ and the Upright Bass" entertained us following theinstallation of officers. Several recognitions are made at this dinner, including the Barbershopper of the Year (BOTY) , Presidents , Spark Plug , and Most Improved Singer Awards. The recipients were:

Barbershopper of the Year - Everett Peterson

Presidents Award - John Welker

Spark Plug Award - Ron LaMar

Most Improved Singer Award - Joe Stone
