2004 Harmony Award
Winner - Jeanne Sonne

The High Country Barbershop Chorus has established an annual "Harmony Award" to be awarded to "a deserving person who promotes vocal music in the White Mountains". The Chorus proudly presented the first of these awards to Jeanne Sonne, Blue Ridge music director, during the intermission of the 2004 show.

2004 Scholarship Award

The High Country Barbershop Chorus is also proud to announce it will award an annual $500 music scholarship at Northland Pioneer College. The scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who will be pursuing a music degree at NPC. Click here to see the details of this award.

This scholarship was unclaimed at NPC, so the scholarship was used to send Everett Peterson to Harmony College in August, 2005.

Barbershopper Of The Month
The Chorus membership elects one (or more) individuals or groups who have made contributions that stood out during the month. The BOTM award is presented during one of the practice sessions during the following month.

Barbershopper Of The Year
Each year a committee, consisting of previous BOTY winners, select the individual who has been the chapter "Most Valuable Player" for the year. This selection is made from a list of nominees made by the chapter membership. The 2004 Award Winner was:
