Metropolis

I have to give the Tampa Herald's of Harmony a big hand for once again putting on a super-star show. The chorus was as entertaining as ever, including Papa Joe DeRosa wailing on his horn for Basin Street Blues.

The show was also my first opportunity to hear Metropolis and now I can see why these guys are Harmony Sweepstakes champs and Top 10 finishers in our INT'L contest. These guys really can lock up chords and I have no doubt that gold is in their future.

The great thing that I admired about Metropolis was their love for singing. They not only sang a ton of songs at the glow, they took requests at the glimmer. These guys were up until 5am singing and had to catch their flight back at 9am! Talk about troopers.
