Youth Harmony CampYouth Harmony Camp is just a couple weeks away, but you can still sign some teen boys up for camp. This is a fun camp and the boys take a lot of excitement and enthusiasm back to their school choirs. Get a boy signed up today. Check out our YHC website. The fee for Camp is $70 for each boy, which covers everything. All he has to do is get there. We also have a number of scholarships for anyone who truly cannot afford the cost. Fall District Convention at PasadenaYou still have 5 days to get your Fall Convention registration in at the lower price. If you use the form in the latest Westunes, please make your check payable to Masters of Harmony instead of the district. This fall the convention starts early Thursday morning for the golfers in our midst. See the Golf Flyer for more information. On Friday the fun begins with a Harmony For Lunch Bunch at the Terrace Restaurant at the Corner of Colorado Blvd. and N. Los Robles Ave. from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The rest of Friday afternoon has some fun activities including a time to sing with our current quartet champs OC Times, a tag singing class, a Beginning Woodshedding class, and two sessions with the FWD Webmaster to learn about the district website and all the resources you will find there. So get that registration form in the mail and join us at Pasadena for an exciting weekend where we'll see the new chorus and quartet champs strut their stuff. COTSNot long after the Fall Convention it will be time for COTS. Visit the COTS website and get yourself registered. You don't have to be a chapter officer to take one of the classes. This newsletter is published 3-4 times each year by the Far Western District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. You may choose to not receive future issues by visiting the Members Only area of the FWD Website. |
